6 recalls across 8 model years
The Victory Cross Country has 6 recalls spanning the 2010–2017 model years, with the most serious being a catalytic converter overheating issue on 2010–2017 models where an engine misfire can generate enough heat to melt the rear brake line and nearby wiring, reducing braking performance.
The 2013–2014 model years share a fuel pump recall where the pump body was incorrectly crimped during assembly, leaving insufficient internal clearance. The pump can seize as a result, causing the engine to stall without warning while riding. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why separate campaigns were filed covering the 2013 and 2013–2014 ranges.
On 2011 models built between January 1 and April 11 of that year, the handlebar clamps and risers may have been machined incorrectly, allowing the bars to slip out of their set position under rider input and causing loss of steering control.
