The 2013 Victory Cross Country has 3 recalls, the most serious being a fuel pump that can seize and stall the engine without warning, raising the risk of a crash.
The fuel pump issue stems from a crimp defect that leaves insufficient internal clearance, causing the pump to lock up and cut fuel to the engine. A separate but equally serious concern involves the catalytic converter: if the engine misfires, the converter can overheat and melt the rear brake line and nearby wiring, reducing rear braking ability and increasing crash risk.
