The 2023 Volvo V90CC has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a diagnostic error that can disable anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, and traction control all at once, leaving the driver with significantly reduced ability to maintain control during hard braking or on slippery roads.
The remaining two recalls both describe the same rear visibility problem: the rearview camera can fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, leaving the driver with no camera view of what is directly behind the vehicle. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why two separate recall campaigns exist for this defect. Without that image, objects or people behind the car are not visible on the screen, raising the risk of a back-over collision.
