Defect
On certain vehicles, deformation of the fuel tank when the vehicle is operated in high ambient temperature conditions could cause a gap to form between the fuel tank mounting surface and the fuel pump gasket. This could result in fuel leakage and the possibility of fire.

Remedy
The fuel pump to tank gasket will be replace with an improved gasket that will prevent fuel leakage from the fuel pump/tank interface should tank deformation occur in high temperature conditions.
