Defect
On certain motorcycles, the rear shock absorber lower eyelet could break and detach from the rear swing arm. This would cause the rear suspension to collapse, and would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

Remedy
Dealers will replace the rear shock absorber with a revised part.
