The 2018 Bugatti Chiron has 5 recalls, the most serious involving side airbags that may not deploy with full force in a side-impact crash, and front seat recliners with welds that can fail and shift the driver's seating position without warning.
A structural recall affects one specific vehicle where a loose screw on the front frame support can reduce the protection the chassis provides in a crash. On the electronics side, the electronic stability control system can fail to return to its normal default mode after the ignition is cycled when Handling Mode has been selected, leaving the car in a reduced-stability Sport mode without the driver realizing it. There is also an instrument cluster issue where the audible chime that warns the driver of an unbuckled seatbelt may not sound at startup, leaving the driver without that reminder before driving.
