The 2020 Bugatti Chiron has 3 recalls, the most serious being a rear left driveshaft that can break and shed parts onto the road, creating a hazard for other vehicles.
The electronic stability control system has a software issue where, if the driver selects Handling Mode, the system shifts into a reduced Sport mode and does not return to its full normal mode after the car is restarted, leaving stability control operating at a lower level of intervention than the driver may expect. There is also an instrument cluster issue where the audible seatbelt reminder chime may not sound at startup, meaning a driver who has not buckled up receives no warning before driving.
