The Bugatti Veyron has 3 recalls covering 2006-2010 model years, with the most serious being a battery cable and alternator connection that can corrode on 2006-2008 vehicles, causing the positive cable to overheat and start a fire.
The 2006-2010 model years also have two additional issues. Jacking plates on the underside of the vehicle can separate from the body while driving and become road debris, posing a collision hazard to other vehicles. The fuel gauge on 2006-2010 models can read higher than the actual fuel level, causing the engine to stall unexpectedly when the tank runs dry.
