On 2024 models, a software fault in the instrument panel can cause the display to go blank either at startup or while driving, removing speed readings, warning lights, and other gauges from view. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, and the remedy applies to the same 2024 model year.
On the mechanical side, the emergency scissor jack supplied with 2020-2022 vehicles can fracture if it is not positioned exactly as described in the owner's manual, causing the vehicle to drop suddenly onto anyone nearby or underneath it.
