1989 BUICK REGAL Recalls — Canada & USA

The 1989 Buick Regal has 2 recalls, the most serious involving fuel return lines near the tank that can fracture and leak fuel, creating a fire risk. The second recall involves the brake stoplamp switch, which can fail in one of two ways: if the switch contacts won't close, the brake lights won't illuminate and following drivers won't know the car is slowing down; if the contacts won't open, the cruise control can disengage when the brakes are pressed but then re-engage on its own when the pedal is released.
