2020 Cadillac CT5 Recalls & Complaints

The 2020 Cadillac CT5 has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the 10-speed automatic transmission, which can suffer internal damage and cause the wheels to lock up while driving.

On the braking side, contamination in a sensor connection within the electronic brake boost system can cut communication between the sensor and the booster, causing the system to lose its power assist. When that happens, the brake pedal requires significantly more force to slow or stop the vehicle. There is also a safety equipment concern: the roof rail side-curtain airbags on some vehicles may not have been installed correctly, which can cause them to deploy improperly in a crash and reduce their ability to protect occupants. Rounding out the list, a software issue in the lighting control module can prevent the daytime running lights from turning off when the headlights are switched on, creating glare for other drivers.
