There is also an ignition-related concern: if a heavy keychain or key fob weighs down the ignition key, the key can shift out of the run position while driving. If that happens and a crash occurs, the airbags may not deploy. As a precaution until this recall is repaired, owners should drive with only the ignition key inserted, removing any fobs or other items from the ring entirely.
