2023 CFMOTO IBEX 800 Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2023 CFMOTO IBEX 800 has two recalls, both carrying crash risk: a loose footrest mounting bolt that can interfere with the rear brake pedal and reduce braking ability, and a throttle wire that can break and stall the engine without warning. The brake issue affects Touring models, where the right footrest bolt may not have been tightened properly at the factory, allowing it to work loose and physically block the rear brake pedal. On both Sport and Touring models, the throttle wire can be damaged where it contacts the handlebar, eventually breaking and cutting engine power mid-ride.
