The instrument cluster on certain vehicles may fail to illuminate warning lights properly, meaning a driver could miss alerts about engine, brake, or other system faults without knowing anything is wrong. On vehicles equipped with the 8.4-inch or 12-inch touchscreen display, the rearview camera image can linger on screen after shifting out of reverse, leaving a frozen or delayed image visible while the car is moving forward and potentially distracting the driver.
