The 2022 Ford E-Transit has 2 recalls, both centering on the left rear axle shaft, which can partially disengage and cut drive power to the wheels or allow the vehicle to roll away if parked without the parking brake applied.

When the axle shaft loses its connection to the power drive unit, the vehicle can lose forward or reverse drive unexpectedly while moving. If the vehicle is parked on any incline without the parking brake engaged, the same axle issue can allow it to roll freely, creating a risk of collision with people or other vehicles nearby.
