2022 FORD E-TRANSIT Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2022 Ford E-Transit has two recalls, both involving the left rear axle shaft, which can wear or partially disengage and cut drive power to the wheels or allow a parked vehicle to roll away if the parking brake is not set. The axle shaft may not have been installed properly, causing the splines to wear over time. When this happens, the vehicle can lose drive power while moving, raising the risk of a crash. If the vehicle is parked without the parking brake applied, the same disengagement can allow it to roll freely. This recall also covers certain incomplete E-Transit vehicles.
