The engine oil issue stems from a plug that sits out of position, allowing oil to escape quickly enough that the engine can cut out while driving. The frontal airbag concern covers the passenger side only: the inflator was not built to specification and can generate more pressure than intended during a crash, raising the risk of injury to whoever is seated there. Recalls 2 and 3 describe the same underlying airbag defect filed separately, so this is one problem, not two distinct ones.
On the braking side, the electronic brake booster module can malfunction either during normal driving or when a driver-assistance feature like adaptive cruise or lane centering is active. Earlier attempts to address this defect through a software update did not fully resolve the issue, which is why a second filing exists.
There is also a lighting concern affecting vehicles used to tow a trailer. A wiring or control fault can prevent trailer brake lights and brake signals from functioning, making the trailer invisible to following traffic and reducing the driver's ability to slow the trailer in tandem with the tow vehicle.
