The 2020-2024 model years are covered by two related rear shock absorber recalls. On 2020-2023 models, a fastener securing the rear shock absorber can break and allow the shock adjuster to contact and damage the rear tire, causing a loss of tire pressure and potential loss of control. A broader version of the same issue extends through 2024, where a mounting tab on the shock pre-load adjuster can break and produce the same result. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why the later recall covers additional model years.
