2010 HYUNDAI SONATA Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2010 Hyundai Sonata has 2 recalls, the most serious being a water intrusion issue in the ABS module that can cause an electrical short and start an engine compartment fire, even when the vehicle is parked and off. The second recall affects vehicles registered in certain northern and midwestern states where road salt accelerates corrosion: the rear suspension control arm can corrode and separate, which causes a sudden shift in rear wheel alignment and can make the vehicle difficult to control.
