The 2025 Hyundai Tucson Plug-In has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a software fault in the front camera system that can trigger automatic emergency braking without warning, raising the risk of a rear-end collision from following traffic.
The remaining two recalls both address the same instrument panel software error, where the display can go blank and leave the driver without a working speedometer or warning lights while driving. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why two separate campaigns exist for this defect. Losing that display means the driver has no way to monitor speed or know if a critical system fault has occurred.
