ISUZU REACH Recalls

The Isuzu Reach has 3 recalls spanning the 2012-2018 model years, with the most serious affecting 2013-2018 vehicles modified with an XL electric hybrid system, where a universal joint on the front driveshaft can fail and allow the shaft to detach, causing sudden loss of drive power. The remaining two recalls both affect earlier production. On 2012-2014 models, the brake light switch can bend under braking and eventually corrode, leaving the brake lights inoperative and giving following drivers no warning when the vehicle is slowing. On 2012-2013 stripped chassis, the horn switch contacts can bend or wear out prematurely, leaving the horn unable to sound.
