LEXUS LX Recalls

The Lexus LX600 has 2 recalls covering 2022-2026 model years, the most serious affecting 2025-2026 vehicles where a transmission solenoid failure can cut communication between the transmission and engine computers, damaging the transmission and causing sudden loss of drive power or a transmission fluid leak that can lead to a fire. On 2022-2024 models, the front passenger seat frame can have insufficient clearance against an internal stopper, which causes the passenger seat occupant classification sensor to misread who is sitting there. In a crash, that misreading can cause the front passenger airbag to deploy with the wrong force or not deploy as intended, raising the risk of injury to that occupant.
