2011 Lincoln Mks Recalls & Complaints

The 2011 Lincoln MKS has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the front driver's airbag, which can inflate improperly during a high-speed crash and raise the risk of injury to the driver.

On the steering side, certain models equipped with a 3.5L turbocharged engine can lose power steering assist, requiring significantly more effort to steer at low speeds and increasing the chance of a crash. There is also a door latch concern: an interior door handle return spring can unseat and leave the handle sitting out of its stowed position, which may allow the door to unlatch in a side-impact crash.
