The 2026 Lucid Gravity has 4 recalls, the most serious involving front seat backrest covers that can block side airbag deployment in a crash, and second-row seatbelt anchor brackets that can fail under crash loads.
The airbag concern affects certain vehicles where incorrect front seat backrest covers were fitted, preventing the side airbags from opening properly when needed. The seatbelt anchor issue centers on the second-row outboard lap belt brackets, where insufficient welds can cause the bracket to give way in a crash, leaving rear passengers without proper restraint. There is also a software recall: on vehicles running an older software version, the rearview camera may fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing what the driver can see behind the car.
