The 2026 Lucid Gravity has 4 recalls, the most serious involving occupant restraint failures: second-row seat belt anchor brackets may fail in a crash, and front seat backrest covers may prevent side airbags from deploying. Both seat belt anchor issues affect the second row. In one case, the anchor brackets may have been manufactured incorrectly; in another, the brackets have insufficient welds. Either way, the brackets can give way in a crash, reducing the restraint the belt provides to rear-seat occupants. The front seat concern is separate: incorrect backrest covers on the driver and passenger seats can block the side airbags from opening during a side impact, leaving occupants without that protection. There is also a software recall affecting certain vehicles running an older software version, where the rearview camera image may not appear when the car is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle.
