MERCEDES-BENZ GLK250 Recalls

The Mercedes-Benz GLK250 has 2 recalls covering the 2013-2015 model years, with the most serious being an engine oil leak on 2014-2015 models where oil can drip onto hot engine surfaces and start a fire, or fall onto the road and create a hazard for other drivers. On 2013 models equipped with the four-cylinder diesel engine, an incorrect transmission fluid filter or overflow pipe installed during a service repair can allow transmission fluid to leak, also raising the risk of fire. The same incorrect parts can cause the transmission control module to fail, which can stall the engine unexpectedly and leave the vehicle without drive power.
