5 recalls across 5 model years
The Mercedes-Benz Tourrider Premium has 5 recalls covering 2022 through 2026 model years, with the most serious being a driver's seat backrest bracket that may be missing on 2022-2025 vehicles, allowing the backrest to fold forward in a crash and increase the risk of injury to the driver.
The 2022-2024 model years carry three additional recalls. Passenger-side 120-volt outlets can detach from their mounting, creating a shock hazard for anyone who contacts the exposed fitting. On vehicles equipped with BraunAbility wheelchair lifts, the outer barrier can deploy unexpectedly, leaving a wheelchair without secure retention on the platform. The roof hatch handle on these same years can break, potentially blocking or slowing occupant escape through that exit in an emergency.
On 2026 models, a door control valve can fail to release the self-holding mechanism, preventing the door from opening and potentially trapping passengers if evacuation is needed.
