The 2024 Mercedes-Benz Tourrider Premium has 4 recalls, the most serious being a wheelchair lift barrier that can deploy unexpectedly, potentially failing to retain the wheelchair and putting lift occupants at risk of falling or injury.
On the seating side, the driver's seat backrest may be missing a bracket that locks it in place, allowing the backrest to fold forward in a crash rather than supporting the driver. There is also an electrical concern: passenger-side 120-volt outlets may not be properly secured to the wall, and a detached outlet can deliver an electric shock to anyone who contacts it. The fourth recall involves the roof hatch emergency exit handle, which can break and prevent or delay passengers from getting out of the vehicle when time matters most.
