The 2025 MINI Cooper has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the integrated brake system, which can lose power assist or cause the anti-lock brakes and stability control to stop working, extending stopping distances and reducing the driver's ability to maintain control.
The third recall affects the front seatbelt retractors on both the driver and passenger sides. A damaged torsion bar inside each retractor can prevent the belt from locking properly in a crash, meaning the belt may not hold the occupant in place when it matters most.
