The 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a jackknife-style ignition key that can fold into the collapsed position while driving and accidentally cut engine power, raising the risk of a crash.
The remaining two recalls both relate to crash protection. The rear seat belt retractor can deactivate its automatic locking mode too early, meaning a child safety seat installed using the belt may not stay properly secured in a collision. The liftgate hinges can also separate from the vehicle body in a rear-end crash, removing the structural protection the liftgate would normally provide to rear occupants.
