The 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a folding ignition key that can collapse while driving and accidentally cut power to the engine, raising the risk of a crash.
The remaining two recalls both affect crash protection. The rear seat belt locking retractor can deactivate earlier than it should, meaning a child seat secured using that belt may not stay properly anchored during a collision. The liftgate hinges can separate from the body in a rear-end crash, removing the structural barrier the tailgate provides to rear passengers and cargo area occupants.
