The 2003 Subaru Impreza has 3 recalls, the most serious affecting WRX models where a fuel leak can develop and, near any ignition source, lead to a fire.
The other two recalls apply to wagon and sedan body styles. On wagons, a bolt securing the rear gate stay may not have been tightened properly, leaving a gap that can allow the rear gate panel to drop and strike anyone standing nearby. On the seating side, the front mounting bolt on the driver's seat can loosen over time, eventually fall out, and allow the seat to separate from its slide rail, which raises the risk of injury in a crash.
