2018 TOYOTA C-HR Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2018 Toyota C-HR has two recalls, both concerning the electronic parking brake, which can either fail to apply or refuse to release after being set. When the parking brake fails to apply, the vehicle can roll away if parked on a slope without the transmission in "Park." When it sticks in the applied position, the brake stays locked and the vehicle cannot be driven normally until the issue is resolved. Both conditions trace back to the skid control computer, which controls the parking brake and may have been incorrectly programmed.
