The 2025 Toyota Highlander has 3 recalls, the most serious being a third-row center seat belt whose roof anchor may have been installed at the wrong angle, preventing it from properly holding an occupant in a crash.
Two electrical and display issues make up the remaining recalls. The instrument panel display can malfunction and fail to show critical driving information, leaving the driver without warning or status readouts while in motion. Separately affecting vehicles with the optional Panoramic View Monitor system, a software error can cause the rearview camera to freeze or go blank when the vehicle is in reverse, reducing visibility behind the car.
