The 2025 Toyota RAV4 has 5 recalls, the most serious being improperly welded front seat brackets that can allow the driver or front passenger seat to shift in a crash, raising the risk of injury.
Two recalls involve the instrument cluster and rear camera. A software error can cause the instrument panel display to go blank or fail to show critical driving information while the vehicle is in motion. A separate software issue can cause the rearview camera to freeze or show a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle. There is also a labeling recall: the maximum cargo and passenger weight printed on certain vehicles may be incorrect, which could lead to overloading the vehicle.
