The 2024 Toyota Sienna has 3 recalls, all related to occupant and passenger restraint, with the most serious risk being that an unsecured wheelchair or loose restraint hardware could allow a passenger to move or be injured in a crash.
Two of the recalls affect wheelchair-accessible conversions. On vehicles converted by Rollx Vans, the wheelchair restraint latches may not secure the chair properly, allowing it to shift during transit. On BraunAbility-converted vehicles, tie-down pucks that anchor wheelchair occupant restraints may not have been tightened correctly and can detach in a crash. The third recall affects Sienna Hybrid models only: bolts on the third-row seatback recliners may not be properly tightened, meaning the seatback may not hold an occupant in place during a collision.
