Running tires at the wrong pressure can affect handling and increase the chance of a blowout. A separate issue affects trucks built between early September and mid-October 2014 that may carry an incorrect Load Carrying Capacity label, meaning the stated weight limit may not reflect what the truck can safely handle. Overloading based on a wrong label puts extra stress on the suspension and brakes and raises the risk of losing control, particularly when towing or hauling.
