The 2015 Toyota Tacoma has 4 recalls, the most serious involving dealer-installed accessories that can detach from the vehicle, including hood scoops that may separate and land in the road and running boards or other add-ons that may come loose while driving.
Two additional recalls involve incorrect labels on certain vehicles. Some trucks built in late 2014 carry a load carrying capacity label with wrong information, which could lead to the vehicle being overloaded. On a related note, certain trucks that had TRD PRO accessory wheels installed at the dealership may have an incorrect tire inflation placard, meaning the recommended tire pressure listed does not match the new wheels, and improperly inflated tires raise the risk of a crash.
