The 2015 Toyota Tacoma has 4 recalls, the most serious involving dealer-installed accessories that may not be properly secured and can detach from the vehicle while driving, creating a road hazard or striking other vehicles. Two of these recalls involve work performed by regional distributors rather than the factory. One covers a broad range of accessories such as running boards that were incorrectly installed and can separate from the truck. The other is specific to accessory hood scoops installed by Southeast Toyota dealers, where weakening adhesive can allow the scoop to break free and become a hazard on the road. The remaining two recalls are labeling issues affecting certain trucks. On TRD Pro-equipped vehicles where wheels and tires were swapped, the tire placard may show incorrect inflation figures, leading to improper tire pressure.
