The 2025 Toyota Tacoma has 4 recalls, the most serious involving a front driveshaft CV joint that can break, impairing steering or, on full-time 4WD models, allowing the vehicle to roll away while parked.
The second significant safety concern affects 4-wheel drive models: mud and dirt can build up inside the rear wheels and damage the rear brake hoses, causing a brake fluid leak that reduces stopping power. On the electrical side, a separate recall covers a fault in the instrument panel display that can cause critical information to stop appearing while driving. There is also a label recall where an incorrect maximum load capacity value printed on certain vehicles could lead to overloading.
