The brake fluid leak reduces braking force and extends stopping distances. The loose bolt issue spans the chassis, brake system, and suspension, covering components like the subframe, control arms, and rear brake carrier, and can lead to unpredictable handling. There is also a side airbag concern: door wiring harness contacts can corrode and disrupt the electrical connection to the driver or passenger front side airbag, causing it to deploy late or not at full effectiveness during a side impact.
