There is also a rollaway risk on vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, manual handbrake, and keyless entry: the system can allow the key to be removed while the shifter is not in Park, which may let the car roll unexpectedly. On the chassis side, the rear coil springs can fracture prematurely and damage a rear tire, leading to a loss of control. The tire pressure monitoring system also has a recall, where a sudden loss of pressure across all four tires may go undetected, leaving the driver without warning before control is affected.
