On the brake side, a missing support bracket can allow an engine preheating tube to rub against the right front brake line until it wears through, causing brake fluid to leak and reducing braking force in one circuit. There is also a separate brake concern: missing air ducts that should cool the front brake calipers can allow brake fluid to overheat and boil under hard use, which drops hydraulic pressure and weakens braking. The third recall involves the heater core, where an end cap connecting the heat exchanger to the engine cooling system can rupture and release hot coolant directly into the cabin, where it can contact the driver's feet and cause burns.
