The 2023 Volvo V60CC has 4 recalls, the most serious involving a brake control module diagnostic error that can disable anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, and traction control simultaneously, raising the risk of a crash.
The rearview camera can fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, leaving the driver without a view of pedestrians, cyclists, or obstacles behind the car. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, and the problem has been addressed through more than one repair campaign.
There is also an electrical system concern: a false diagnostic code can trigger a persistent "e-Call Service Required" warning in the instrument display. Because that warning appears when nothing is actually wrong, a real failure of the emergency call system may go unnoticed. In a crash where the driver is incapacitated, the system might not connect to emergency services, and help could be delayed.
