On certain motorcycle, the rear suspension drag link assembly may fail, allowing the rear suspension to disconnect from the swing arm. Should this occur, the motorcycle will drop down causing contact between the rear tire and the underside of the rear mudguard. This could cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death.
