The 2017 Buick LaCrosse has 4 recalls, the most serious involving rear suspension toe-links that may have been installed backwards, causing the outboard bolt to work loose and the link to separate from the suspension, which can result in a loss of vehicle control.
The remaining two recalls both concern the electric power steering system and describe the same underlying issue: the electrical connectors may not be properly sealed, allowing water to enter and corrode the connections. This can cause the power steering assist to cut out intermittently or fail entirely, leaving the driver with significantly heavier steering effort and a higher risk of losing control, particularly at lower speeds or during turns.
