CADILLAC XT6 Recalls

The Cadillac XT6 has 5 recalls covering the 2020-2023 model years, with the most serious affecting 2023 models where a transmission fault can cause the left-front axle shaft to separate, cutting drive power to the wheels and potentially allowing an unattended parked vehicle to roll away. The 2023 model year also has a compliance recall where the certification label on the driver's side B-pillar may be printed in a way that makes the tire size information illegible, which can lead to incorrect tires being installed. On 2022 models, the brake fluid reservoir cap may be missing its warning label, which means someone servicing the vehicle might not know to clean the cap before removing it, allowing dirt and debris into the brake fluid and degrading brake performance over time. Going back to the 2020 model year, certain vehicles have side curtain airbags with inflator problems that can prevent the airbags from fully inflating in a crash, reducing occupant protection.
