The 2023 Cadillac XT6 has two recalls, the more serious being a transmission defect that can cause the left-front axle shaft to separate, cutting power to the wheels and potentially allowing the vehicle to roll away if parked without the parking brake engaged. A grinding or clicking noise from the front of the vehicle may signal this issue before it worsens. The second recall involves a certification label on the driver's side door pillar where the tire size information may be printed illegibly, which can lead to the wrong tires being installed.
