2022 Chevrolet Suburban Recalls & Complaints

The 2022 Chevrolet Suburban has 4 recalls, the most serious being two separate risks that can cause a sudden loss of vehicle control: engine failure in models with the 6.2L V8, and rear wheel lockup in models with the 10-speed electronic transmission.

On the safety equipment side, third-row seat belt buckles on vehicles with a third-row seat may have a poorly formed rivet in the buckle assembly, which can prevent the belt from holding an occupant in a crash. There is also a lighting issue where the daytime running lights may stay on when the headlights are active, creating glare for other drivers and reducing visibility on the road.
