The 2015 Dodge Durango has 7 recalls, the most serious involving rear suspension control arms that can fracture, causing a sudden drop in ride height, loss of rear-end stability, and reduced braking that raises the risk of a crash.
Two other recalls share the same severity level. The infotainment system on certain trims contains a software vulnerability that can allow unauthorized remote access to vehicle controls. Separately, a cruise control software defect can cause the vehicle to maintain speed or accelerate even when the driver tries to turn cruise control off, leaving the driver unable to reduce speed through that system.
On the brake side, the left front brake caliper can crack under hard braking, extending stopping distances and reducing control. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, which is why it appears across more than one recall filing.
