The 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan has 6 recalls, the most serious being a key weight issue where a heavy keyring can cause the ignition to slip out of the ON position while driving, cutting engine power and disabling the airbags and power steering.
A separate airbag concern involves a loose or missing emblem in the center of the steering wheel: the emblem itself or its mounting hardware can become projectiles when the airbag deploys in a crash. There is also an electrical fire risk from the vent window switch in the driver's door armrest, which can overheat. Two recalls apply only to wheelchair-accessible conversions: certain vehicles modified by Liberty Motor Company may have a rear axle that can fail and increase crash risk, and vehicles fitted with Rollx QRT-series wheelchair restraints may not secure the wheelchair properly, allowing it to shift during transit.
