The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning has 4 recalls, including a high-voltage battery defect that can cause an internal short circuit and raise the risk of a fire. Two recalls cover the same front suspension issue: the upper control arm ball joint nut may not have been tightened properly, allowing the control arm to separate from the steering knuckle and causing sudden loss of steering. On the drivetrain side, the integrated park module may fail to fully engage when the driver shifts into park, leaving the vehicle free to roll away.
