The 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty has 3 recalls, the most serious affecting single rear wheel trucks with a 10.5-inch rear axle, where the left-rear axle shaft can break, cutting power to the wheels and potentially allowing the truck to roll away if parked without the parking brake applied.

The other two recalls both stem from prior repair attempts that did not fully resolve the original issues. One involves a software problem that can cause the wrong rearview camera image to appear while backing up, reducing rear visibility. The other affects the power windows, where the automatic reversal system may fail to detect an object in the window's path as it closes, creating a pinching risk for hands or fingers.
