The 2019 Ford F-250 has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the front and rear axles: a front axle wheel end yoke that may not be properly welded can affect vehicle control, and on trucks with electronically locking rear differentials, the passenger-side rear axle shaft can break and cause loss of drive power or allow the vehicle to roll while in Park.
Two other recalls round out the list. On trucks equipped with an engine block heater, water and contaminants can corrode the heater cable's splice connector, and when the heater is plugged in, that corrosion can cause wiring to overheat or melt, raising the risk of fire. There is also a seating concern: certain trucks with manual front seat recliner mechanisms may have been assembled incorrectly, leaving the seat back with reduced strength that may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash.
