The 2017 Ford F-550 Chassis Cab has two recalls, the more serious being a driver seat where the recliner mechanism may be incorrectly welded to the seat-back frame, which can cause the seat or head restraint to fail under load in a crash. The second recall involves decorative chrome door handle covers sold as aftermarket accessories through Ford dealers. These covers can interfere with how the door handle responds to inertial loads, meaning a door may not stay latched during a collision.
